Braided flat elastic is a flexible, durable elastic band made by plaiting polyester, industrial polyester, cotton, polypropylene or nylon yarn using a braiding technique. It serves a wide range of uses — from apparel and medical to jewellery and belt making.

Production Technique
What Is Braided Flat Elastic?
Braided flat elastic is a type of elastic band formed by interlacing yarn and latex on special braiding machines. The name “Tres” comes from the braiding structure created as the yarns are interwoven during production. Tres elastic is divided into four main types:
Flat Elastic
Wide, thin profile. Trouser waistbands, fitted-sheet elastic, home textile.
Round Elastic
Cylindrical, round cross-section. Underwear, mask loops, eyelet cords.
Baby Elastic
Soft, with a central channel. Babywear and sensitive-skin garments.
Braided Belt Elastic
Wide braided belt band. Stretch belts, sportswear and casualwear.
